Good food, yummy cocktail list and you can't beat the views. The river in the background is so beautiful, a perfect patio meal. We also love the fun games and fire pits when there is a chill. We love to bike here and spend a few hours.

Signature drinks are amazing and fully loaded lol! Love the food, menu had a nice variety to appeal to everyone in our group! I was also pleasantly surprised how quickly our orders came out, which was great because we were all starving! Next time I'd like to sit at the bar looking over the distillery operation, it's quite the set up, the whole building is really amazing!

Wow! This place blows every restaurant in Montrose out of the water!! Thank you for opening this place, Montrose has needed something like this forever. We are so grateful to the owners who envisioned this place! It's right on the river, absolutely beautiful and stunning views, food was incredible, cocktails were incredible! This place is going to be the best spot to dine in Montrose hands down. I've never had this good of a meal in Montrose - we are visiting from Telluride and super excited about this place. We will be sure to visit every time we are in Montrose.

Today, my hubs and I had lunch at the new Shelter Distillery and had a fantastic experience! We sat at the bar and ordered the hummus trifecta, truffle fries, and a bison burger with a salad. What a treat! The hummus was really amazing - all three flavors were different and delicious. The fries were great, and the burger was totally worth the splurge! Cooked just the way we like and topped with local cheese and all the fixings, it was just perfect! I also had a G&T with their "Gin The Third" botanical blend that's rose heavy, a little vanilla, and a sweet spice of anise at the finish. The staff were amazing, and the building is beautiful! Totally worth a trip to Montrose. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Notable features include a 30 bbl. four-vessel SK brewhouse, stainless steel fermentation tanks, and a 3,000-liter Barison Hybrid Pot Still, empowering us to create distinctive whiskey creations.
